Timeline of the Contest
Registrations with Early Booking will be open from November 10th to January 31st.
From February 1st to March 20th the normal registration period will continue.
The samples must arrive at the Sanremo site not later than March 23rd.
March 26th to 29th the Competitions will take place with tasting sessions of the Juries.
On April 26th the Award Ceremony of the Winners will take place in Sanremo.
First Day - 26th March
During the first day, the Judge’s Team main will work to define the 3 samples’ fruity categories. This year we are going to use a new special tasting glass: the new “disposable” eco-glass BICOLIO specially designed for oil tasting, with a registered design made by an Italian producer.
Second Day - 27th March
We will completely dedicate the second day to the tasting sessions. We will taste to define the groups of finalists for each Category of the Contest.
Third Day - 28th March
Also, in the third day we will be entirely focused in tasting sessions to tribute the right value and score to Your Best Olive Oil Samples and define the Final scores. During the afternoon will start the new table olives International Contest MOOIC.
Fourth Day - 29th March
The fourth day of the Contests will be dedicated to tasting every Table Olive samples defining the Finalists and the Awards. Prestigious and exclusive Prizes for all the declared Categories will be assigned to the winners. We will define also the Oils that are going to enter the new MOOOIC EVOO & MOOIC OLIVES Guide 2020.
Fifth Day - April 126th
The fifth day of the Contest will be Your time and Your day! It will dedicated to the Award Ceremonies. The Awarded Producers are invited to come to Sanremo to get the deserved tribute to their work “the Best World Olive Oils” and “the Best Table Olives”. The Grand Hotel del Londres will be the best host ever for the Award Ceremonies. On April 26th, 2020, the winners of the MOOOIC & MOOIC – World Olive Oil Competition & World table Olives Competition – the best olive oils in the world and the best eating olives – will be unveiled during the Awards Ceremony press conference. By the end of May the new MOOOIC EVOO & MOOIC OLIVES online Guide 2020 will be published and Diplomas and evaluating tasting sheets for every participating EVOO’S and OLIVES will be sent to the Producers .
